Zum anderen ist die Nutzerzahl so stark gestiegen dass uns somit hohe Geocodierungskosten entstehen. Wir haben Ihnen, liebe CNGler, die letzten Jahrzehnte unser Angebot kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. gibgas.de hat den Routenplaner, die Umkreissuche und das Tankstellenangebot technisch entwickelt und auch die Programmierung finanziert, sowie die jährlichen erforderlichen Updates sowie die monatlichen Geocodierungskosten durch Google. Ein großer Zeitaufwand stellt auch die Pflege der CNG-Tankstellendaten dar. Allerdings werden wir als privatwirtschaftliches Unternehmen zukünftig diese Kosten nicht mehr übernehmen. Das heißt die Nutzung des Routenplaners und die daraus entstehenden Kosten müssen wir an Sie weitergeben. Wir arbeiten aktuell an dieser Lösung.

On the one hand, we have been dealing with persistent attempts to steal our filling station data. As a company whose core service is providing this information, such activities pose a serious threat to our business. We are currently redesigning our website and improving our services. During this transition, the detailed information on CNG filling stations will be temporarily unavailable. We appreciate your understanding. The route planner and nearby station search will remain available for the time being.
On the other hand, the number of users has increased significantly, resulting in substantially higher geocoding fees. For decades, we have proudly provided our services free of charge to the CNG community. gibgas.de has developed the route planner, nearby station search, and filling station database, financed the programming, covered the costs of the required annual updates, and paid the monthly Google geocoding fees. Maintaining CNG filling station data also requires a significant amount of time. As a privately owned company, however, we will no longer be able to absorb these costs in the future. This means that the costs associated with using the route planner will need to be passed on to users. We are currently working on implementing an appropriate solution.
